Big Penny Social is the biggest bar along the Blackhorse Beer Mile and from 18th July is transforming its beer hall and terrace into a pop-up beach complete with sandpits, deckchairs, beach huts, and a chippy. The fish & chip shop will serve the classics as well as more unusual options like Sri Lankan spiced fish and chips.
Walthamstow-on-Sea boasts private beach huts for hire and a variety of fun events throughout the summer including; date nights, kid’s play sessions and adults-only beach parties on Saturday evenings.

Limin’ Beach

Limin’ Beach is bringing authentic Trinidadian vibes to Gabriel’s Wharf this Summer. Just a few yards from (but not overlooking) the Thames, you’ll find tonnes of proper sand, a huge beach hut come beach bar and a terrace with a retractable roof and dainty tables and chairs.
The promoters have promised great music, cocktails in coconuts, and mouth-watering food by Limin Southbank. They’ll be servin’ authentic Trinidadian treats such as bara flatbreads with spiced chickpeas, grated cucumber, and sweet tamarind & hot pepper sauce, banana blossoms with coriander or baked sea bass alongside Caribbean classics such as grilled sweetcorn, roti wraps, masala chips and aloo pies.

Fulham Beach Club at Neverland

Fulham’s sandy open air oasis Neverland welcomes back its best loved summer pop up; Fulham Beach Club. It’s got more white sand than any of London’s urban beaches, several bars, cabanas, pergolas and even a games area for beer pong, mini golf, shuffleboard or a yoga session.
The sunsets are pretty spesh at this rooftop, riverside spot so it’s fitting they’re hosting regular Ibiza-themed beach parties where DJ sets and live sax kick things off. There’s also a bottomless brunch, weekly drag bingo and even a Malibu Barbie Party too.
To keep you well fuelled they’ve got Crispy Chicken Burgers, Spicy Wings, Sharing Platters, light bites and Wood-fired Sourdough Pizzas alongside classic summer cocktails such as; Pimms, Spritz, Mojito, Margarita, Piña Colada and Pornstar Martinis amongst others.
