YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE NEW FABRIC BOOK CELEBRATING CLUB'S 25 YEAR HISTORY

fabric invites you to share memorable stories, photos and flyers for the book which will be published by White Rabbit Books

To mark its 25th anniversary, London nightclub fabric has announced the creation of a one-of-a-kind book that will document the venue's history from its inception to the present day. The book will be published by White Rabbit Books, who specialise in publishing authors on music and related topics such as The Chemical Brothers Paused in Cosmic Reflection.

Written by music scribe Joe Muggs, the book will tell the story of the club from its opening in Farringdon on October 29, 1999 by founders Keith Reilly and Cameron Leslie to the present day. The club is asking members of the public to share their memories and experiences of the club as part of the book.

“Ever since we opened in 1999, you - our dancers and our community – have played such an important part in our history,” said fabric. “To mark the big occasion, we are working on a very special project with White Rabbit, and we’d love you to be part of it.”

People are invited to share their memorable and impactful stories from Fabric. The book welcomes stories about first dates, new friendships and connections, unforgettable DJ sets, or the #savefabric campaign.

“Whether you live the fabric experience in real life and have been a regular at the club over the years, or you experience the fabric brand from afar (through records, fabricfirst, or maybe you’ve been inspired by our lineups or artwork), we would love to receive your memories…”

The following are examples of acceptable materials: photos, videos, voice notes or audio snippets, photos of merchandise, scans of archive flyers and stickers, photos of wristbands, track IDs that could soundtrack your fabric journey, and many more.

The deadline for submissions is August 7 2023, and participants can submit material via this form.
