YARD Festival is heading back to Azeitão, Portugal with its first-ever four-day run, locking in a full lineup and fresh Burning Man collaborations.

Set across the White Sand Mountains in Setúbal spanning a historic castle and coastal park, the festival pairs electronic programming with large-scale art in a seriously scenic setting. This year also brings Burning Man camps Favela and Tierra Bomba into the fold, injecting Brazilian and Latin-led art experiences into the landscape.

Less than an hour from Lisbon, Azeitão offers a vineyard-backed alternative to Portugal’s coastal hotspots. Proceedings open with a castle pre-party before rolling into full programming across the main sites, with open-air stages, sunset sessions and late runs throughout.

A SPY MUSEUM IS COMING TO ENFIELD THIS SUMMER

A new museum is opening this summer at Trent Park House, Enfield. The ‘House of Secrets’, is dedicated to Second World War spycraft inside the stately home.

During WW2, the mansion was used by British intelligence to hold captured German officers who didn’t know their conversations were secretly recorded using hidden microphones placed around the house. These recordings provided crucial intelligence for the Allies.

The house was also once home to Sir Philip Sassoon, who hosted famous figures like Winston Churchill and Charlie Chaplin. His restored interiors and belongings will be on display for the first time since 1939.

ABRUZZO-STYLE FLAME-GRILLED SKEWERS AND £5 CAMPARI SPRITZES AT AUGUSTE LONDON FIELDS

Taking over the old Papi site, this “unconventional Italian” spot serves up Abruzzo-style arrosticini smoky, flame-grilled skewers alongside bargain £5 Campari spritzes.

Expect lamb, Wagyu and wild boar straight off the grill, punchy sauces, and a freewheeling menu with zero rules. It’s rustic, a little chaotic, and very east London; good wine, good music, and no judgement if things get messy.

The team is preparing to open “a tiny little hideaway,” downstairs too, designed for late-night drinks and lighter snacks.“We’ll be having fun… we’ll be dancing and having parties. Papi was exceptional, but there won’t be strawberry Nesquik daiquiris. There’ll be classy drinks and good DJs. It’s going to be a different kind of fun.”

LATE NIGHT NOODS IN SOHO AT MAKI & RAMEN

Soho’s answer to late night feasting is here. Maki & Ramen, the Edinburgh-born favourite is now slinging bowls in the former La Bodega Negra basement on Old Compton Street, open until 1am.

Deep eight-hour broths, handmade noodles and big-hitting flavours. Signatures include black garlic tonkotsu, fiery “hell ramen” and steak tataki, alongside a stacked menu of sushi, gyoza and katsu curries designed to soak up the sins of evening.

The Alexandra Palace b2b marked Fred and Bangalter's second time playing together after they played with Busy P and Erol Alkan in Paris last October.

Over the course of the two-hour set, the duo dropped a raft of classic tracks and exclusive edits. These included mash-ups of Daft Punk's 'Aerodynamic' and Fred's 'Victory Lap 5' with D Double E, and 'Harder Better Faster Stronger' with 'Delilah'. Bangalter also mixed Gil Scott-Heron's 'The Revolution Will Not Be Televised' into Usher's 'Yeah', before the pair later ended the set with Daft Punk's 'One More Time', tee'd up with Chuck Roberts' iconic house vocal sample 'Jack's House'. They pair also played tracks by Prince, Caribou, Tessela, LFO, Joy Orbison and more.
