Out in the garden, Liquid Earth and Certain People bring decades of crate wisdom - the former serving up the transatlantic house that has become his signature, the latter as he celebrates 10 Years of Certain Music.

Tokyo Nights is a live dining and performance experience unlike anything else in London. Watch sumo wrestling from your seat. Eat premium Japanese food by Sticks'n'Sushi. Drink sake, whisky and craft cocktails ringside.

Every guest is assigned a heya (a team, a side, a rivalry) and the energy in the room does the rest.

The team behind Tokyo Nights has worked on events including Grand Expedition, Chambers of Flavour and Secret Cinema, and includes Tokyo-based, London-born artist David Sharibani, aka Lord K2, who has had behind-the-scenes access to sumo stables and the Kokugikan arena in Tokyo. Nine dates have already sold out but the next lot of shows are on sale 22nd April.

ANCIENT TEMPLE IN SICILY CONFIRMED AS SITE OF NEW AURA FESTIVAL

The temple itself is situated in stunning hills near Castellammare del Golfo. Considered one Sicily's most important archeological treasures, it is often cited amongst the best examples of Doric architecture anywhere in the world. A quintessential aesthetic of ancient Europe, the style is defined by thick columns, frieze artworks and simple roofs. Its origins began in Greece, but the aesthetic survived well into the early-Roman era.” DJ MAG

The space that used to home The Counter Restaurant is getting a Berlin-style glow-up. Kiez Kebab is moving in, bringing industrial interiors, big sound system energy and a tight, no-fuss menu.

It’s all about veal, chicken and vegan kebabs stuffed into pide, loaded with fresh salads and those essential Berlin-style garlic and chilli sauces. Drinks come courtesy of A Bar with Shapes for a Name, plus there are German and Austrian beers.

London’s not short on kebabs, but proper Berlin-style ones are thin on the ground. Kiez Kebab could shake things up.

LEGENDARY AFGHAN-TEXAN BBQ ‘CUE POINT’ IS GETTING A PERM HOME IN WEST LONDON

Cue Point is finally going permanent. After ten years of pop-ups and residencies, Mursal Saiq and Joshua Moroney land their first bricks-and-mortar at West London’s Garden Bar - right on cue for their 10th birthday.

Expect their signature mash-up of low-and-slow BBQ and bold Afghan flavours, cooked over a giant smoker in a 200-cover garden. Think oak-smoked wagyu brisket with Texas naan and saffron butter, live-fire chicken korma, oak-smoked lamb shank with Kabuli pilau, black lime and pepper chicken bites, and charred aubergine curry with dill yoghurt with vegan and gluten-free options baked in.

Plus: community projects, chef takeovers and late-night vibes. West London’s about to smell very, very good.
